Eunice Yuyue Chen - Bio

Yuyue Eunice CHEN (Chongqing, China) is an independent curator and researcher based in New York City. She completed her M.A. in Curatorial Practice at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Previously, she received her M.M. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne.
Her curatorial practice focuses on mobility and migration, environmental injustice, and critical urbanism. Engaging with multimedia artists across sound, video, photography, sculpture, performance, and installation, she investigates memory, time, and space in the digital age. She is particularly interested in developing community-based projects and exhibitions in alternative spaces.
Her curatorial projects have been presented at non-profit organizations in NYC. Her exhibitions have been featured in Artforum, Asian Art Archive in America, Asian American Arts Alliance, Cultbytes, Impulse Magazine, LiTang, the China Press, World Journal, and Sing Tao Daily. Her writings have appeared in Art Spiel and Artron. She has previously participated in Bergen Assembly 2022 (Bergen, Norway), the LUXELAKES A4 Art Museum (Chengdu, China), the 3rd Boundless Encounter Triennial of Fiber Art at Zhejiang Art Museum (Hangzhou, China).
